The Hull Studio is a multi-use filming and production space set within a converted stable in the historic Maltings Brewery complex in Hull. Combining character with practicality, it’s a creative, relaxed environment designed to support everything from small shoots to full production days.

 

We use the space to deliver a wide range of productions - from interviews and talking head videos to full head-to-toe green screen shoots, product demos, commercial content and performance-based work. The studio adapts easily to the needs of each project, giving us the flexibility to shape every shoot around your brief.

 

The space is acoustically treated to provide a clean, controlled recording environment, supported by a dedicated voice over booth. We’re also set up for podcast production, allowing us to create both audio and video podcast content.

 

Our fully equipped studio features a double-height ceiling and a 5 x 7 metre studio floor, giving us the space to work comfortably across a range of setups. We use Aputure P300c and LS 600c lighting, alongside adaptable backdrops, allowing us to quickly configure the space to suit each production.

 

The Hull Studio is designed to be welcoming and practical, with a green room and two hair and makeup stations, secure on-site parking, ground floor access and superfast fibre broadband. It’s a relaxed, friendly space (with great coffee) that makes production days easy and comfortable for everyone involved.

 

The Hull Studio is also available for dry hire, offering a versatile, well-equipped space for filming, photography and content production in a unique setting.

 

Based in Hull city centre, we work with clients across East Yorkshire and the UK, offering a convenient and characterful environment for high-quality content and video production across a wide range of projects.
