Chief Constable Tim Hollis has describe Lifestyle as ‘the jewel in the crown of Humberside Police’. The scheme, now in its 22nd year aims to promote active citizenship and social responsibility by encouraging young people to get involved in community projects during the long summer holidays.

Each summer thousands of young people across the region give their time and effort to make a positive contribution. The scheme receives broad support from the business community and partner organisations.

To encourage participation JayJay Media currently produces a promotional film which is shown at schools. Filming the promo and meeting all the enthusiastic lifestyle groups is one of the highlights of the JayJay calendar.

And then to round off the year, JayJay Media has produced the last three Lifestyle Awards shows at Hull City Hall. The shows, which are a mixture of prizes, performances, pyrotechnics and films, are a real celebration of the youngster’s achievements and the culmination of a hectic year for all involved!
