CASE STUDY: HULL TRUCK THEATRE
Hull Truck Theatre is one of the UK’s leading producing theaters. As part of its marketing mix, JayJay Media was commissioned to produce a series of trailers for forthcoming plays. The pieces were often produced early in rehearsal when there wasn’t a set and only limited costumes - so highly creative approaches were needed!
The videos were used on the main homepage of the Hull Truck website, shown on large screens within the theatre foyers and in the case of 'Pub Quiz is Life', at a local cinema.
The trailer below was an integral part of the theatre's 'Something Wicked This Way Comes' marketing campaign for Hull Truck's production of Macbeth. The innovative campaign won a Theatrical Management Association (TMA) Award for its success in attracting new audiences to the production.
